Today we had some volunteers from the Society of Women Engineers from UofM come in to explore magnets with us! Students had to use straws, tape, Life Savers, and a toothpick box to construct their own car. They used magnets to push or pull the cars. It was wonderful to see how each group constructed their cars differently!
Late last week we dissected seeds. We were looking for the seed coat, stored food, and embryo.
