We are a nut free classroom!
We eat snack once a day, usually in the afternoon. Please send healthy snacks only.
Healthy Snack Suggestions:
bananas
clementines
small apples (usually cheaper by the bag!)
berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries etc.)
cut melon (watermelon, honeydew, etc)
string cheese
yogurt
grapes
raisins
other dried fruit (cranberries, mango, pear, apricots, etc)
fruit strips (even better...a brand with no added sugar!)
unsweetened applesauce or pear sauce (individual cups are convenient, again unsweetened is best)
carrots
celery sticks
red & green pepper strips
snap peas
plantain chips
banana chips
kale chips
apple chips
coconut chips (unsweetened)
nori (dried seaweed)
