We've been building on our knowledge of multiplication this week with arrays and equal groups. We practiced some multiplication story problems and then we played a game with our partner. Here's how we played:
1. Roll two dice to make a multiplication problem.
2. Say the number model to your partner, "There are 5 groups of 6"
3. Partner 1 represents the model with equal groups. Partner 2 represents the model with an array.
4. Find the answer to the multiplication problem (total number).

Take a look at our caterpillars!
Many students took their plants home today! If you want the plants to continue to grow you will need to be transplant them into a larger area/container.
